About the Artist
Kenneth Greene is a Johns Creek-based artist and photographer whose creative journey began at age sixteen. Formally trained in Baltimore, he creates vibrant abstract works filled with imaginative creatures, playful forms, and unexpected materials, including acrylic paint, reclaimed wood, vintage toys, and treasured objects collected over decades. His artistic practice is shaped by more than forty years as a social worker and fifteen years as an art therapist. Through The Whimsical World of Kenneth Greene, he transforms memory, resilience, and life experience into joyful works that invite every viewer to discover a story of their own.

Original Mixed Media
Kenneth Greene’s art transforms abstract shapes into imaginative creatures that feel ancient, playful, and completely original. Using layered forms, intricate patterns, vibrant details, and unconventional materials, he creates figures that appear to exist somewhere between fantasy and memory.

The natural wood grain contrasts with the carefully dotted surface, giving the work both warmth and dimension. Its symmetry encourages the viewer to search for faces, bodies, and hidden characters within the composition. Rather than giving each creature one fixed meaning, Kenneth allows viewers to interpret the work through their own imagination and personal experiences.
Creatures in My Mind invites viewers into the imaginative world of Kenneth Greene, where unusual shapes, vibrant colors, and found materials become whimsical beings with personalities of their own. Each creature is born from memory, emotion, and creative freedom, transforming the artist’s inner thoughts into playful, one-of-a-kind works. The collection encourages viewers to look closely, embrace curiosity, and discover their own stories within Kenneth’s world.
